SDG Alignment

Apex Care Foundation is proud to align its mission and programmes with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – a global blueprint for ending poverty, protecting the planet and ensuring prosperity for all.

By aligning our work with the SDGs, we connect local action with global impact and contribute meaningfully to a shared vision for a better future.

What Are the SDGs?

The Sustainable Development Goals are 17 interlinked objectives adopted by all UN member states in 2015. They provide a framework for governments, civil society and the private sector to work together on solving the world’s most pressing challenges by 2030.

These goals address issues such as hunger, education, gender equality, health, clean water, economic opportunity and environmental sustainability.

Our Areas of Alignment

Apex Care Foundation actively contributes to several SDGs through our programmes, partnerships and impact model. Key areas of alignment include:

• SDG 1 – No Poverty Supporting vulnerable families with essential resources, crisis support and pathways out of hardship.

• SDG 3 – Good Health and Wellbeing Providing mental health services, medical access and nutrition support to children and families in need.

• SDG 4 – Quality Education Removing barriers to education, especially for children with disabilities and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

• SDG 5 – Gender Equality Empowering women and girls through education, health access, leadership and safety-focused initiatives.

• SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation Supporting water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects in partnership with local communities.

• SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities Advocating for inclusive systems that recognise and respond to the needs of marginalised groups.

• SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals Building cross-sector collaborations to share resources, scale solutions and strengthen collective action.
